Music Under the Stars series returns

BRATTLEBORO-Perennial favorite Pan Evolution Steel Orchestra returns to Retreat Farm to kick off the 2025 Brattleboro Music Center's Music Under the Stars series.

The Pan Evolution Steel Orchestra, 2024 New York Panorama Winner, is a steel pan band that performs around the U.S. and overseas. Founded in 2015 and based in Brooklyn, New York, the band uses its platform to promote unity throughout the culture and steel pan community, all while personifying the band motto of "Together As One."

Other scheduled concerts include the Vermont Jazz Center Band, with Carmen Bradford, on Saturday, July 19, and Celtic Night with Keith Murphy and Becky Tracy, and Jenna Moynihan and Màiri Chaimbeul on Saturday, Aug. 23.

Music Under the Stars series sponsors include Guilford Sound, Friends of the Brattleboro Music Center and the Vermont Jazz Center, the Vermont Arts Council, and other generous donors.

Admission is free with donations welcome. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. at Retreat Farm, and concerts begins at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to bring lawn chairs and a picnic dinner. Please note that no outside alcohol is permitted, but beverages are available for purchase on site. Also, please leave dogs at home unless they are a service animals.
