Lakou Mizik brings spirit of Haiti to Bellows Falls

Lakou Mizik will bring its soulful energy to Robertson Paper Company Field, 21 Island St., at 6 p.m. July 5. Gates open at 5 p.m.

Formed in the wake of Haiti's devastating earthquake, Lakou Mizik came together to show the world the resilience and beauty of Haitian culture. The group's critically acclaimed debut album, "Wa Di Yo," and dance-party-inducing live shows have won fans across the globe.

Tickets are $22 in advance at nextstagearts.org and $25 at the gate, with children under 12 admitted free. Showgoers are invited to bring a blanket or folding chair and enjoy food from local favorite Smokin' Bowls. The event will feature the return of the popular Barr Hill cocktails.
