• Raymond E. "Ray" Gould, 89, formerly of Bellows Falls. Died peacefully at Maplewood Nursing Home in Westmoreland, New Hampshire, on July 24, 2025, after years of battling dementia. Ray was born on Feb. 13, 1936, to Raymond W. Gould and Delia Gould. He spent most of his time growing up on their farm in North Clarendon. At 18, he enlisted in the Marines, and served during the Korean War. In 1964, he and his previous wife, Judy, moved with their young son to Bellows Falls. They learned pretty quickly he was no amateur in either of those areas. After retiring from St. Johnsbury, he worked at several places part-time to fill his time and surround himself with people. He was definitely a people person. In fact, if one did not know it, they would swear that he was the manager at Home Depot.
